Do I need to occassionally repressurize my bottles in the Perlage System? That is, do they leak over time at all?

No, you don't. The valves are very effective. We have had bottles on Perlage for over a year with no degredation in carbonation levels.

@Evan Wallace We had a customer in Seattle, the venerable Virginia Inn, that had a bottle of Champagne on Perlage when the State shut down all restaurants at the start of Covid. When the restaurant opened seven months later, I went in and ordered a glass of bubbles. The owner found the Perlage, and opened it. It made the familiar hissing sound when opened, with a cloud of familiar fog around the mouth of the bottle--and the Champagne was perfect!
